American Driving School has been in business since 1983. President John Connolly, Robert Scevola and Michael Camann are New York State Certified Driving Insructors.



In addition to the New York State required 5-hour pre-licensing course, American Driving School also teaches the 6-hour Defensive Driving Course. The Defensive Driving Course will reduce your insurance premium by 10 percent for three years, and remove four points off your license. This course costs $40, and requires pre-payment and registration; call for information on dates and times. Mr. Connolly is certified to teach the Defensive Driving Course.



Mr. Camann also owns MAC Motorwerks in Germantown, a used car dealership.



American Driving School is certified by Driver Training Associates, and is a member of the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau and the National Federation of Independent Business.
